We will be announcing the recipient of the Charlie Earle Micro Grant for Black Women & Non-binary Artists during this event.
Are you a Black and/or Indigenous singer, dancer, musician, performer, poet, storyteller, writer, filmmaker, or artist of any kind? Then this opportunity is for you! BLM Nogo-Ptbo wants to amplify your voice and showcase your work for Black History Month, via a virtual event hosted on Zoom. All performers will be paid.
All performers are asked to pre-record their performance as an MP4 and email it (or a link to a drive or uploaded video - ie. YouTube, Vimeo, or DailyMotion - can be attached if the file is too large to email) to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “BHM Submission”. The recording should be no more than 10 minutes but can be as short as 30 seconds. The email should also have your performance name(s), a description of who you are, and a description of your work. The deadline for submissions is February 15th, 2021.
